Anne and Rudy Gold are a husband-wife directing duo. They met while attending ArtCenter College of Design where Rudy received his second BFA and Anne obtained her MFA.

 

Rudy was born and raised in Los Angeles. His tumultuous childhood made him a person with lots of stories to tell. The grit of the city shaped him into someone relentless at achieving his goals. Rudy has great interests in Hinduism and practices mediation and mindful living. 

 

Anne is from Beijing and grew up in a traditional Chinese family. Watching classic Hollywood films with her grandma planted a seed of storytelling in her. Anne left home at 17 for England to pursue her dream. She then came to Los Angeles to continue developing her craft as a screenwriter and director. 

 

Anne and Rudy live a fruitarian-based vegan lifestyle. They love working with animals and children. They believe storytelling should come from within. With their different life experiences, they approach filmmaking and conveying human emotions from a unique and intimate perspective.
